Hospice treats you, not the disease. The focus is on care, not cure. Hospice professionals and volunteers addresses you and your family’s medical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Hospice services are extended to your family with your authorization. You and your family are included in the decision-making process.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Anyone who is diagnosed with a terminal illness is qualified for hospice care. For Medicare, Medicaid, or other insurance to provide coverage, additional criteria may apply. We always advise scheduling a meeting with a member of our staff who can assist you with determining eligibility and answer any inquiries you might have.
WHO PAYS FOR HOSPICE SERVICES?
Medicare covers the 100% cost of hospice care. Most other insurance providers like Medicaid, and private insurance that has hospice benefits will also cover hospice care with little to no out-of-pocket cost. Ask our team about any financial questions you may have.
WHERE DO I RECEIVE HOSPICE CARE?
In most cases, hospice services is provided in patient's place of residence. This includes patients own home, a family member's house, a nursing home, or an assisted living facility.
